Yesterday we were all in Mark's and my room just talking and Cami came in OVERJOYED!!!
Cami (Beaming) - Stephanie, Stephanie, I can open your door.
(Stephanie has a child proof door to keep her things safe from, well, her little sister.)
Stephanie (Scowling-looking at me) - Great. MOM!!!!
Cami (Still beaming) - Come and look. Come and look.
Stephanie still in shock sits frozen at the end of our bed while Mary leaves and comes back to confirm Cami's success and Stephanie's fears.
Stephanie (With pleading eyes directed at me.) - Oh no!
Me (At Cami) - Good job, Cami.
Me (At Stephanie) - I'm so sorry, Stephanie.
Me (Unable to contain myself, I start laughing. Mark and I exchange looks of sympathy/hysteria - parenting can be so confusing sometimes!)
Not being able to capture the moment last night, I decided to get a picture of Cami opening Steph's door today. Needless to say, it was locked! LOLOLOL!

Way to go Cami! Unfortunatly for us Porter (being the brute that he is) learned at a very young age that if you hit those things hard enough they magically pop off! We had to resort to duck tape. Maybe that would work for Stephanie. It makes it harder for little hands to squeeze.
LOL!! That is a really good idea! You're kids are so smart! You are so smart to keep up with them! :-) I'm sure Steph will appreciate the information.
