SNOW DAY

There are few things that bring sheer joy like that of a SNOW DAY. Going into Friday, we knew there was going to be a two hour delay. But it wasn't until that morning that the true rejoicing began! Friday was a SNOW DAY!!! Cami was scheduled for her 5 year old shots, so we still had to get out of the house, and of course we had to PLAY in the snow, but we still got to sleep in. Steph and Mary built a slide in the front of the house where they snowboarded down into the mailbox. O.K so we discussed that NEXT time, aiming for the mailbox may not be the wisest building option. (Cami ended up bonking her cheek. Poor girl also ran into the music stand in primary today. She just needs some TLC!!!) Also the night of our SNOW DAY was celebrated at the "Warren Theatre." Just some simple (or not) background on this theatre...this is the most decadent, amazing, movie experience on the planet. They are massive structures of movie bliss. Velvet curtains cascade a monstrous screen upon a platform. Each velvety chair has cushioned arm rests, head and neck rests and literally ROCKS! We took Cami when she was an infant and I nursered her the entire show in this chair of luxury. The bathrooms have a lounge with a fireplace. They have full service restaurants inside the theatre that will deliver to your chair. Our favorite was the reubens. They have a theatre with a built in cry ROOM that has speakers plugged in for the parents. They also have a special balcony for 21 and older that gives full service food and drink options (we don't drink, but it was quite amazing to see this massive balcony.) The walls and ceilings are painstakingly painted with intricate detail. Breathless...simply breathless! And prices are the same as any theatre in town. They have locations in Wichita, Kansas and one opening up in Moore, OK. ANYHOW...the girls set up our living room in "Warren Theatre" style to watch a movie. Our Snow Day ended as it had began...in a grand fashion. Long live SNOW DAYS!!!
