New Year's Resolution Revolution

Today begins the Resolution Revolution! Seeing that I statistically have less than a 50% chance of maintaining my New Year's resolutions until July, I've decided to play with the odds and begin THIS WEEK. HA! Didn't see that coming did you my pretty resolutions!

So, just for personal clarification, here are my Top 5 2008 New Year's Resolutions. (I've chosen to start with 5. There are obviously more, but for sake of sanity I'm starting with 5.)
  1. More consistent scripture study. Yes, this began TODAY!
  2. Calorie annihilation. Maybe if I call it something other than "Weight Loss," it might come to fruition.
  3. Eternal Family Progress. This encompasses a broad range of "To-D0's." Progress is what I'm after this and many years to come. Here is a good place to start (or continue...)
  4. To be a friend to man (especially MY man) . From a talk given by Gordon B. Hinckley. "Let me live in a house by the side of the road, Where the race of men go by— The men who are good and the men who are bad, As good and as bad as I. I would not sit in the scorner’s seat, Or hurl the cynic’s ban;— Let me live in a house by the side of the road And be a friend to man." (Sam Walter Foss, “The House by the Side of the Road,” in James Dalton Morrison, ed., Masterpieces of Religious Verse [1948], 422)
  5. Work on the rest of my New Year's Resolutions.

That should cover it! Onward...ever onward!!!
