The Wonderful Adventures of Winter Break

Well so far, we've really enjoyed the winter break. Mark has had to work some of the time, but will be taking some time off next week. Here are some of the adventures we've had so far.

One thing we try to do with our girls is one on one dates. This month was Mary and my date at Monster Golf. We played 18 "spooky" holes then finished with a hot-fudge sundae (Mary chose Carmel) at the big "M" (McDonalds.)

In true Canadian tradition, we went skating with friends Christmas Eve.

Mary has caught on that the increase of my picture taking involves posting on what she calls my "evil blog." What she doesn't realize is that the word "evil" is "live" backwards. So really, it's my "live blog." Which translates to "living life" blog. So, technically she's right.

Winter break also involves hitting the after Christmas sales. After cleaning out and going through old and outgrown clothing, it was ESSENTIAL to go shopping. Absolutely the excuse we needed. Well, we probably would have gone regardless. Here are the new "Old Navy" 50% off outfits each girl chose.

And what winter break wouldn't be complete without the blessing to clean house. See how HAPPY they all are!
